COCONA™
If you see the word 'carbon' in this catalog-it's got Cocona™. Cocona technology incorporates activated carbon made from organic coconut shells and trap odor and foul molecules released from your body during exercise. During a normal wash and dry cycle these 'traps' release these undesirables into the air and re-activate the carbon. With 45% greater wickability than other performance fabrics, Cannondale carbon fabrics with Cocona™ also have an SPF rating of 50+.
CUPRON™
Another industry first from Cannondale! For centuries the cationic properties of copper have been well-known and are now harnessed for their ability to deodorize, killing od causing bacteria and fungi while you wear the clothing, as well as for their skin-tone enhancing properties. Cupron™ technology impregnates fibers with copper before they become a textile fabric. Cannondale employs Cupron™ in select fabrics for it's natural activity-activated bacteria fighting deodorant properties as well as healthy skin appearance enhancing properties. And, because Cupron™ is impregnated into the fiber, the technology will last as long as the garment itself-withstanding both chemical exposure, wear and washes.
QUADTEX CARBON PLUS
Reserved for the L.E. Collection, this fabric is actually injected with organic carbon to provide unparalleled moisture management and odor adsorption. When the body heats up, QuadteX Carbon Plus's MicroClimate™ technology activates-with 45% better moisture transfer than most fabrics, it keeps a body cool during hot days and heats up during the cold ones. QuadteX Carbon Plus also traps odor using activated carbon made from organic coconut shells. During a normal wash and dry cycle, the carbon releases the odor and "foul" molecules and then re-activates the carbon "traps!"
QUADTEX CARBON LITE
This ultra-thin, lightweight fabric is packed with performance. Impregnated with Cocona™ technology, this fabric boasts the same moisture management and odor adsorption qualities that made our L.E. Carbon apparel famous. QuadteXCarbon Lite, used in our Fourteen40 Carbon jersey, also has four-way stretch for superior comfort and fit.
QUADTEX C2 GRID
Now with natural, bacteria fighting protection, and skin wellness properties of Cupron™. QuadteX C2 Grid has the same odor adsorption, wicking and UV protection performance qualities as QuadteX Carbon Plus fabric. However, Carbon Grid is a more open weave construction strategically integrated into side panels and areas that demand more ventilation.
THERMAL CARBON HYDROGRID
Now with increased moisture wicking and odor adsorption courtesy of TRAPTEK™, this fabric has a 3-D "grid" knit into the material that traps air for thermal performance and moisture management. Reserved for our L.E. Collection, Thermal Carbon Hydrogrid is mid-weight, waterproof, windproof 4-way stretch laminate. Engineered to minimize skin contact for maximum comfort while moving moisture away from the skin maintaining it's thermal qualities. Exclusive to L.E.

OTHER FABRIC TECHNOLOGIES
AEROLOFT LIGHT™
Airloft Light™ uses air to achieve its thermal capabilities. Lightweight fibers give the fabric a soft and comfortable feel that is enhanced with 4-way stretch and superior moisture wicking capabilities. The inside texture traps air for maximum thermal benefits and enhances comfort.
ALPACOR
The name Alpacor, comes from the Peruvian animal, the Alpaca. Used for generations for their fur, alpaca fibers, yarns and fabrics have wonderful high performance thermal attributes. Alpacor breathes easily, expels odor and moisture and is naturally warm and soft.
CHANNEL MAX
Is a bonded fabric with ChannelTeX technology. Used in our heavyweight road jerseys, Channel Max has large channels 'built-in' for larger thermal challenges (like a New England winter). These large channels rapidly move moisture away from the body while trapping air for its thermal benefits.
CHANNELTEX
In school we learned that channels were designed to redirect water. So why not engineer a fabric to do the same thing? Makes sense right? ChannelTeX has actual channels knit into the fabrics interior to politely navigate sweat away from the body leaving you dry and comfortable while you're adding discomfort to you legs and lungs.
CPOINT
CPoint fabric wicks moisture with style. That's why we use it in our women's printed jerseys. It starts with a tastefully designed polyester weave with inherent moisture wicking properties. It's also treated and then styled with perforated accents that transfer perspiration away from the skin.
CTECH
CTech is a double-knit micro-polyester synthetic with a smooth luxurious feel against the skin and the perfect amount of stretch for a comfortable, yet appropriate fit for cycling. Both the construction of the fabric and the inherent wicking properties of polyester will keep riders cool and dry.
DIAMOND TERRA
DiamondTerra is a durable and lightweight fabric for maximum performance over time. The diamond shaped weave architecture is open so that moisture is quickly evaporated into the atmosphere. It also creates small micro climates between fabric and skin drawing air in to keep a body cool and comfortable during physical exertion.
DRI-LEX®
Dri-Lex® technology's mastery over perspiration comes from its hydrophobic (moisture-hating) polyester and hydrophilic (moisture-loving) nylon. This extremely quick push-pull effect of moisture is the reason we chose it for our base layer products.
DYNAFLEX
Is a Power Lycra® with terrific stretch, recovery and durability. Dynaflex boosts performance with excellent compression and range of motion. The fabric possesses top-notch moisture wicking capabilities and is soft to the touch for maximum comfort.
ERGOFLEX PLUS
Ergoflex Plus is a soft and lightweight Nylon/Spandex blend with comfortable stretch and recovery for unrestricted range of motion.
ENDUROMAX
Just as the name connotes, this fabric is engineered to endure just about anything thrown its way. Breathable, 4-way stretch for comfort over time, while the inherent texture of the fabric wicks moisture, is wind and water resistant.
HYDROGRID
Our collection of printed jerseys is produced with Hydrogrid fabric. If you look at it closely you’ll notice the grid pattern. This grid channels moisture away from the skin using less material and less weight than traditional spandex. This amazing grid pattern also increases stretchability in four fantastic directions for a great fit.
HYDROWEAVE PLUS
Windproof, waterproof, lightweight. This breathable material was crafted for use in our shells that will find themselves in the worst of conditions. Luckily, whoever is armed with it will cut through it and come out on the other end dry.
MICRO C
Micro C is a three-way moisture-management fabric for those who enjoy managing moisture. Actually, the waffle stitch, the fibers themselves and the wicking finish treatment will do the moisture managing for you.
MOTIONTERRA
This durable 4-way stretch fabric is a wind resistant, breathable, moisture wicking poly spandex blend. It provides off-road warriors with a fantastic range of motion combined with stellar comfort. MotionTerra fabric is used on our Grind shorts.
PACK LIGHT
Pack Light fabric is designed for water and wind-resistance. However, it's pack-ability is it's best quality. Ultra-thin and light-weight make this material stoweable virtually anywhere.
THERMAFLOW
Thermaflow is a mid-weight fabric with inherent moisture managing performance; 4-way stretch provides range of motion while the weave of the fabric recycles airflow for thermal benefits. This unique weave also wicks moisture extremely fast for added comfort.
X JERSEY PLUS
This midweight fabric is fuzzy on one side and stealthy smooth on the other. The fuzzy side keeps you warm and cozy. The stealthy smooth side makes you look stealthy smooth. So, not only will moisture be swiftly wicked and leave your body comfortable and warm, but you'll have the confidence of knowing you look good-or dare we say GREAT!
